"I love panoramic photography, and the way it interprets landscape is beyond the ability of any other format. I have a personal preference for vertical panoramic landscapes, but I am equally comfortable taking horizontal format photographs. The latter create the illusion of space, whilst vertical format panoramic photographs create the illusion of depth. Both have provided me with a unique "black and white" view of Southern Africa, and it is an honour to have had my compositions so well received by the viewing and buying public. Cape Town itself has played a large role in this...some of my best clients reside there and my exhibitions in Cape Town have generally been very successful. Perhaps it is the cultural strength of the city, or perhaps the sheer beauty of Table Mountain inspires people to see beauty in everything. Either way, this photograph of Table Mountain is really just a simple attempt at revealing the mountain's iconic presence over Cape Town." Bruce Mortimer.
